Dali - Dalí Museum in Figueres
Dalí Museum Figueres near Barcelona. The Dali Theatre-Museum in Figueres was created by Salvador Dali. The Dali museum is built over the ruins of the former Figueres Municipal Theatre which was destroyed at the end of the Spanish Civil War. The musuem is a work of art and is the largest surrealistic art object in the world.

There are many day tours from Barcelona to visit the Dali museum in Figueres - or you can go yourself by train from Barcelona. The town of Figueres is about 140km from Barcelona and there are excellent train connections several times daily including a high speed AVE train connection.

From 1 October to 30 October:
Open from 9:30 to 18
Access until 17:15

When is the museum closed?
Closed on 1 January and 25 December.
Closed every Monday between 1 October and 31 May, except on holidays, holiday eves and 24 December.
From 1 June to 30 September open daily.
